We are pleased to introduce CSTools

This is our new application for configuring and managing Neutron modules and Neutron connected scales.

CSTools is designed to make setup simple for anyone, while still providing complete configuration, calibration and diagnostic capabilities when required.

Using Bluetooth, users can connect directly from a phone, tablet or PC, with no internet connection needed for local setup.

With CSTools users can:

Configure Wi-Fi, Ethernet, cloud and scale settings
Calibrate connected scales directly from the application
Create complete configuration backups
Restore previously saved device settings
Export and import configurations for faster setup of multiple devices
View live diagnostic and communication data
Start a remote assistance session when additional support is required

CSTools is now available for Windows and Android, with an iOS version coming soon.

We believe CSTools will make the installation, commissioning and ongoing support of Neutron connected scales significantly easier for both your team and your customers.

Weighing applications

Supported connections and devices

Scale Monitor supports following connections with a scale:

USB, RS-232 or RS-485 – limited to Windows devices
Bluetooth LE – limited to Android and Windows devices
CloudScaleLink – supports all devices

We often get question when do we need CloudScaleLink module?

CloudScaleLink is essential when you want Ethernet or WiFi connection with scale or you need to connect with your scale from any device.

You need CloudScaleLink module in the following scenarios:

Ethernet/WiFi Connectivity:
- If you want to connect your scale over Ethernet or WiFi rather than using a USB, RS-232, or Bluetooth connection. Unfortunatly, if scale already has Ethernet/WIFI interface you can not use it due to the lack of support for cloud protocol MQTT which is required for Scale Monitor connection.
Any device access:
- CloudScaleLink enables remote access to your scale, allowing you to monitor and manage it via web browser no matter which operating system you are using. When you connect scale via CloudScaleLink module you can access this scale from Android devices, Mac and iOS devices, Windows devices, Linux/Unix even from smart TV that has web browsers.
Integration with Cloud Services:
- If you require integration with cloud-based applications and services for data logging, analysis, or reporting. CloudScaleLink facilitates seamless communication between your scale and cloud platforms such as Scale Monitor, enabling advanced data management and analytics capabilities.
Enhanced Monitoring and Control:
- For applications that demand real-time monitoring and control of scales across a network. CloudScaleLink provides robust connectivity options that support sophisticated monitoring solutions with integrated diagnostic and debbuging tools.

How to start using Scale Monitor – complete procedure

In this video Iva demonstrates complete procedure from unboxing new scale, connecting it to CloudScaleLink module, registration and adding your new scale in Scale Monitor.

Iva shows also how easy it to start using Scale Monitor which digitalizes scale that she unboxed and setup in less than 5 minutes.

This video basically shows procedure what will you have to-do when you get new scale with CloudScaleLink and how to start using it together with Scale Monitor.

In this video we used Adventurer AX8201 scale from Ohaus and CloudScaleLink module ODIN which connects scale via WIFI to cloud application Scale Monitor.

How to use Scale Monitor on phone, tablet and PC

Scale Monitor is cloud web based application. That means you can connect from any device you want with your scale. All you need is internet connection and device with a web browser.

In video below we demonstrated how you can use Scale Monitor on phone, tablet and PC. Please remember that there is no installation or configuration needed on any device. Once you add your scale to the Scale Monitor you can use your scale from any device you want – even from your smart TV.

To access your scale all you need is an URL or QR code.

This video demonstrates also how CloudScaleLink IoT-WIFI module ODIN is installed inside industrial battery powered indicator DFWLB from Dini Argeo.
